How can the elderly et their medicine easier?

Guiding Questions

1.What are the features of medicine dispensers.

2.How do medicine dispensers dispense medicine.

3.What are the required dimensions of my design.

4.How can the elderly get their medicine easily with a medicine dispenser.

Answers to Guiding Questions

1.Existing medicine dispensers dispense medicine at the press of a button.

2.They rotate and drop the medicine out a slot in the machine.

3.The dispenser should be about 15 cm by 10 cm by 10 cm

4.There can be an alarm clock on the dispenser that will alert the elderly when they have to take their medicine. Then the elderly can press the button on the box with the time that they have to take their medicine.

1. Some elderly cannot move from place to place on their own.

2. How do the elderly do their daily activities without help from others.

3. Is being an elderly really a problem?

4. Are the elderly helpless?

5. What can the elderly do to benefit society and them selves.

Top 3 ideas

1. What can the elderly do to benefit society and them selves. - We can ask elderly to use some of the skills that they have to help less fortunate people. This would make the elderly have a sense of pride knowing that they are still useful in the society.

2. Are the elderly helpless? - We can find out what the elderly can do.

3. Is being an elderly really a problem?- We can help them.
